Here’s the 411: Spring Celebrations

Spring is officially here and we couldn’t be more excited at Invites Ink! Many of us just celebrated Passover, and for others Easter is quickly approaching. With all the celebration in the air, we can almost taste freedom.

The trees are flourishing, the flowers are blooming, the sun is out longer, and the temperatures are rising. After a long and cold winter filled with isolation from COVID restrictions, we are more than prepared for a spring full of love, excitement, celebration...and of course, invitations!

Are you?

If not, we are here for you. Here is the 411 on everything you need to know about your upcoming spring celebrations:

Baby Showers

Nothing is sweeter than a spring baby shower. Spring is full of new life- baby birds, squirrels, plants, flowers, etc. That’s why it is the perfect time to host a baby shower. Enjoy some of the natural beauty by having your shower outdoors! Tap into the light pastel colors of spring with lavender, baby blue, light pink, soft yellow, etc.

Have light hourederves and spring inspired dessert, embracing all the new fruits and veggies that are in season.

And, of course, you can’t forget the invitations!

Here is one of our favorite spring baby shower announcements:

Wedding (and Bridal Showers)

Did we hear wedding bells in the air? I believe we did which means congratulations are in order. As we prepare for the big day, we have to first think about the decorations (and invitations!)

Nothing is more romantic than flowers, and there is something special about using ivy, ferns, and other natural plants. Both simple and beautiful, it leaves the “A-ha!” to you and yours on your special day.

Plants, linen, and wood are all a beautiful combination for decoration when it comes to making a place feel fresh, yet cozy, while also managing to not take away the attention from you on your big day. (We have options to explore!) Think of it as a complement to the big white dress. Because, the truth of the matter is, sometimes our decorations can be SO much that they can be distracting.

When we keep it natural, and we keep it comfortable, we somehow manage to keep it beautiful. Not to mention, keeping it simple provides the opportunity to make it creative. How? Nonstandard invitations, of course. Just look at these natural save the dates:

But wait...there’s more. Want to have a little pop of color for your bridal shower? Of course you do. We would too. That’s why we encourage floral invitations that keep on theme for your big day, but still add a little character to your event. Here’s an example:

Graduations

It’s April which means graduations are just around the corner.

And what’s the best part about a graduation?

It’s basically an all-about-you day! Full of celebrating WHO you are and WHAT you’ve accomplished. With something so personal, why not also personalize your invitations?

Luckily, we can print personalized stationery for your invitation and then you can use the extras for thank you notes!

Then, keep on theme with decorating in their favorite colors, providing their favorite meals and snacks, and inviting all their favorite people.

Here are some of our favorite stationary options (customizable in school colors, favorite colors, or college colors!)
