Navigating COVID & Your Upcoming Event

So, if you are someone who is approaching a 2021 wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, bar/bat mitvahs, even a work event or celebration, it is time to ask yourself one question. What is more important to you - the day or the people who attend?

If its the day itself then consider these options:

  • Limit your party to a regulated number required by your state.

  • Wear masks while attending the event.

  • Provide proper distancing and sanitation.

  • Consider online measures (i.e. Zoom or Skype).

  • Talk with your vendor about changing locations, outdoor options, or cancellation policies.

If, however, it is more important to you to be surrounded by all your guests, then consider these rescheduling steps and options:

  • Inform your guests immediately of your rescheduling and ensure them that they will be informed regarding a new date.

  • Call your venue and ask for available dates- plan far enough in advance and consider booking days that are less popular to ensure availability for caterers, florists, designers, decorators, photographers, etc.

  • Consider downsizing your party, even if by a little- the less people, the less stress for rescheduling (trust us!).

  • Celebrate your original day whether it be over Zoom, at home with your loved one, or your immediate family. That day was special for you- don’t let it go to waste.

Whichever choice you make, it is important to remember to breathe and not panic. Invites Ink is here for you. We offer a variety of beautiful options for rescheduling invitations. Providing you with one less thing you have to worry about. Plus, it makes for an unforgettable keepsake!
